Knitting/Crocheting Lessons for Kids this summer in Holden

Do you know any Holden/Kingsville youngsters who would like to learn how to knit and/or crochet?  We have talented adult knitters who would enjoy working with them this summer, teaching these needle crafts.  Donated yarn will be supplied, but a crochet hook or knitting needles will need to be purchased.  This is a great opportunity for home-schooled children, 4-H kids, Girl and Boy Scouts and all others.  We’re in the planning stages and would love your input such as times and days of the week that would work best, what age child is interested, etc.  We will try to work around times that suit the most.  Please leave your name and phone number or email address at the library (816-732-4545) so that Kim Holger, our programmer, may contact you in late May as this program comes together.
