Caring For Loved Ones with Alzheimer’s or Dementia - Concordia

Dementia Practitioner Amy Davis-Evans from Americare Senior Living will present a program focused on helping families care and communicate with their loved ones who are battling memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. This is a free educational program offered to anyone in the community.

Craft Cafe - Lexington

Craft Cafe is an event for experienced or intermediate crafters who are looking for a challenge. This month, we will be making “Something to Crow About” wood blocks to add to your Halloween decor.

Kathi Mecham, Horticultural Specialist will present an informational program on how to care for gift plants, i.e. Christmas poinsettias, sympathy plants,  get-well plants, etc.

Be a part of this group for beginning crafters!  We will make unique projects using materials that have served their original purpose and are now ready for a new life.  This month, we will make a Halloween Block decoration from 2 x 4’s left over from a construction project.

Color Me! Adult Coloring - Warrensburg

Engage in an activity with no batteries, messages, or wires.  Get in touch with your inner minimalist, and color your way to calm. Trendy, relaxing, and definitively old-school. All supplies provided.
