Read, Rave, Repeat - Warrensburg

Join “Read, Rave, Repeat!” the book club for TRL teens! Each month we’ll discuss books within a chosen genre or theme. December’s theme is Poetry. Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language. Teens choose any book you would like from the poetry genre and come prepared for snacks, engaging book talk, and more!

Brown Bag Book Club - Lexington

November’s Book Club was canceled, so we will read last month’s pick - A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, written in 1943 by Betty Smith.  A beloved American classic about a young girl’s coming-of-age at the turn of the century.

This is an adult book club that meets once a month to discuss their book of choice. This month’s book of choice open for discussion is The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines. Join our book club for 3rd-5th grade! Book-to-Art Club links art making to literary exploration. This month we’ll discuss The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly. We will explore paper-cut artwork and naturalist prints.
