TRL2 (Teens Revolutionizing Libraries @ Trails Regional Library) is a secret organization comprised of creative geniuses, fun people, and book lovers who have been planning a teenage takeover of Trails! If you fit this description, check us out!

Gather a friend and come to the library to make a twinkling package of lights for decoration. Snacks provided.

Creative Kicks - Odessa

Let’s get creative! Unleash your wild and artistic side to design your own or use our stencils to create your own unique kicks. Registration required; call or visit branch to sign up.

CANCELED : Ode To Flannel

Get your flannel on--literally, wear flannel to this event. You can jam out with karaoke or dance up a storm with Just Dance. Be our panel of “flannelists” and vote for who wore it best. Pizza and refreshments provided. Presented by TRL2. Registration required; call or visit branch to sign up.

Read, Rave, Repeat! - Warrensburg

Join “Read, Rave, Repeat!” the book club for TRL teens! Each month we’ll discuss books within a chosen genre or theme. December’s theme is Poetry. Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language. Teens choose any book you would like from the poetry genre and come prepared for snacks, engaging book talk, and more!

Our County’s Infamous Citizens - Holden

Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle and join us at the library for a program by Mike Shaw of the Johnson County Historical Society.
