The Holden branch of Trails Regional Library has received a request to start a Book Club. This would be a great opportunity for anyone in the Holden/Kingsville area who likes to read and share his/her love of books to get together periodically with others who have this same interest. Those who are interested could decide how often they want to meet and how they want the club to be run. If this sounds like something that might interest you, please come to the library at 207 S. Main or contact us by phone—816-732-4545.
Animals Are Heroes Too Everyone is invited to come to the Holden branch on Tuesday, July 7th at 10:00.  We will have a therapy dog and a police dog and their handlers here to show how valuable these dogs are to the community.  Drako (the police dog) is a service dog of special handling and it is requested that NO petting be allowed.
Avoid the heat (or rain) on Wednesday, July 22 by heading on over to the Warrensburg branch at 6:00p.m. to hear the heavenly sounds of the Summer Jazz Band with Dr. Aaberg.
