Early Out Fun!

If you’ve noticed an influx of “Early Out” programs at your library, it’s for good reason! School districts in Johnson and Lafayette Counties have begun monthly, and sometimes weekly, early release days for students. Our branches are excited to welcome Pre-Teens and Teens during these early outs with programming that will let them stay engaged while providing entertainment and leisure in a safe space.

Celebrate Teen Read Week: even if you are a bit older ;-)

Teen Read Week™ is a national literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association.
The 2016 theme is "Read for the Fun of It", but why should teens have all the fun?
Young adult books are not just for teens!
